Ten individual boards with numbers from 0 to 9 help children recognize the shape of numerals and practice writing them in the correct direction. The magnetic pen lifts the metal beads and guides them along the prepared track.
Precisely guiding the magnetic pen supports hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, concentration, and patience. The game also builds important muscle memory for future writing.
The boards are made of FSC-certified wood, with an emphasis on durability and safety. The metal beads are securely enclosed inside so they cannot fall out during play.
VIGA magnetic number-writing practice boards are an educational aid inspired by the Montessori approach. Each wooden board contains a groove in the shape of a numeral and metal beads. The child moves the beads along the track with the magnetic pen, naturally learning the shape and correct writing direction of each number.
Handling the magnetic pen supports precise hand movements, hand-eye coordination, and the development of muscle memory needed for future writing. The beads are safely enclosed inside the boards, so they do not fall out during play.
